ViztaCraft Limited Warranty

ViztaCraft warrants that all products purchased from an authorized ViztaCraft dealer by a retail customer shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of sixty (60) months from the original date of purchase. All accompanying hardware, inserts, and components carry a separate twelve (12) month limited warranty.

This Limited Warranty is extended exclusively to the original retail purchaser and is non-transferable. Claims must include valid proof of purchase and product registration completed on the ViztaCraft support portal within seven (7) days of purchase.

The warranty is applicable only when products are used under normal recreational conditions. It does not cover commercial, rental, or instructional use. ViztaCraft reserves the right to assess warranty claims, which may require photos and inspection of the product.

If a product is deemed defective, ViztaCraft may choose to repair or replace the product. This warranty excludes any liability for incidental or consequential damages.

Warranty Exclusions

  • Normal wear and tear (scratches, abrasions, paint chips).
  • Damage from misuse, neglect, accidents, or improper storage.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures, sunlight, or environmental conditions.
  • Commercial use, towing behind powered vessels, or improper transport.
  • Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or alterations.
  • Products sold as “demos” or “as-is.”

Return Policy

Most new, unused, and unopened items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full product refund. Shipping, handling, and delivery fees are non-refundable.

All returns require a Return Manufacturer Authorization (RMA). Items returned without an RMA will be refused.

How to Request an RMA

  1. Complete the Warranty Claim Form on the ViztaCraft support page.
  2. You will receive your RMA number by email within 48 hours.
  3. Include the following with your request:
    • Proof of purchase (date, place, price).
    • Kayak serial number, model name, and color.
    • Your full name, address, and contact number.
    • A clear description of the issue.

Securely package your item with protective materials and the original packing slip. Write your RMA number clearly on the box.

Note: Products not purchased directly from ViztaCraft must be returned to the original retailer. Returns must be shipped within 7 days of RMA issuance.

Invalid Warranty Claims

  • Unauthorized repairs or alterations.
  • Damage from sun, heat, cold, or weather exposure.
  • Use in rental, promotional, or commercial environments.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Damage from towing, poor storage, or transport handling.
  • Kayaks tied or secured via handles during transit.
